About me 🕺

Hello 👋 

I am a 24 year old Software Engineer from London, currently living in Cambridge. I went to the university of Winchester where I undertook a degree in Digital Media Development. I have since been working in the industry for just under 3 years.

Despite going to University I started coding when I was 13. My interest for development was initiated by a graphic design hobby that led me to wanting a place to showcase my work. I spent countless hours reading books and watching YouTube tutorials on how to build a portfolio website with HTML and CSS. From there my passion has grown day by day and led me down a rabbit hole of continuous learning and improvement. 

I got my first job in the industry at The Designlab through the undertaking of my final year dissertation. I was looking to understand whether the Jamstack was the future replacement for building a backend, where part of my research was visiting a bunch of different agencies and asking them questions about how they approach new projects, their stack and their thoughts and opinions on different technologies. Sitting down and having these coversations really helped me with getting that in at The Designlab, one of the agencies I approached.
