1. Cover a small plate with salt to a depth of ¼ inch.

  2. Halve the lime wedge widthwise and run a cut edge around the outer rim of a martini glass to dampen it.

  3. Roll the glass in the salt to coat the outer rim.

  4. Combine the tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and lemon juice in a mixing glass. Fill the glass three-quarters full with ice cubes, cover with a Boston shaker tin, and shake vigorously until thoroughly chilled, 15 seconds.

  5. Strain into the prepared glass and garnish with the lime slice.
