Method

  1. Grease and line an 8 inch tin. 

  2. Cream the butter, syrup, eggs and sugar.

  3. Sieve the flour and baking powder and mix it with the fruit. 

  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk to give a fairly soft dropping consistency. 

  5. Put in tin, put brown paper over the top to avoid burning and place in oven and bake slowly for 2-2.5 hours on Regulo 3.
