Method

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 200-220C

Step 2

Dump sausages into a baking dish and cover in oil and then put them in the preheated oven for 10 minutes

Step 3

Measure 250g of plain flower and add a tea spoon of salt to the flour

Step 4

Crack 4 eggs into another bowl and whisk them up

Step 5

Add this egg to the flour and mix it up

Step 6

Add 150ml of milk gradually - don't add it all in at once. Mixing it every time you add a bit. Should be a nice wet consistency.

Step 7

When the oil is hot cover the oil and sausages in this batter mixture 

Step 8

Keep It in the oven for 30 minutes. Do not open the oven door during this time. Doing this can cause the Yorkshire pudding to stop rising and sink.

Step 9

Serve with veg and gravy
