Cucumber & Onion Salad – Side Dish
Ingredients
- ½ Each Cucumber
- 1 Each Large onion
- 2 Each Green chilli’s
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 75ml Lemon juice
Preparation
- Slice up the cucumber and onion (make half into rings) finely.
- Chop up the chilli’s. De-seed if you don’t like it hot.
Method
- Put the cucumber, chilli and onions in a dish. Mix with hand.
- Add the salt. Mix with hand.
- Add lemon juice. Mix with hand.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
This is a side dish and can be served as an accompaniment to all curries.
Best made on day of serving.
