A collection of some of my nan's recipes 👵🏼

My nans parents were born in England and went out to live in India as part of the British Empire where my nan was born. There she met my granddad who was also born in India. His dad was born in England and also went there as part of the British Emipre where he met my great nan who was half Portuguese and half Goan.

Nan uses only three temperatures on the cooker hob – full on, minimum possible or just above half on.  She only uses a wooden spoon to stir with as Mum’s stirring also involves a lot of scrapping the bottom of the pots.
